Make the most of your retirement savings by contributing the maximum yearly limit to your IRAs. For the 2025 tax year, you can contribute a total amount of $7,000 to traditional or Roth IRAs. If you are over age 50, you can contribute an additional $1,000 “catch-up” contribution for a total of $8,000.
IRA contributions for the 2025 tax year can be made until the tax filing deadline on April 15, 2026. Members with last-minute IRA contributions for tax year 2025 are asked to call Sunward by April 15 at 3:30 p.m. MT to ensure adequate processing time. When you set up automated account withdrawals, you authorize Sunward to debit your savings or checking account for the amount you specify, and to send that money electronically to your payee according to your schedule. You can set recurring or one-time payments. You can also set up automatic withdrawals directly with your payees. This may be helpful if a bill's amount and/or due date varies each month, and you know you will have adequate funds to cover the amount. Here’s how to find this number in online or mobile banking:
Log in and select the Accounts tab.

How do I set up direct deposit for Social Security or other federal benefits?+

How early will my direct deposit be available to me?+
The day and time we make funds available will depend on when we receive information about your deposit from your employer or other sender, which can vary from deposit to deposit. In most cases, funds will be available two days faster.

Why isn’t my direct deposit coming in early?+
There are a few reasons we may not be able to process your direct deposit early:
Your deposit type isn’t eligible (like a transfer between bank accounts or a deposit that’s not from a qualifying employer, business, or government program).
Your payment provider doesn’t submit your deposit early. Sunward posts deposits as they are received. If your direct deposit is not posted in your account, your payment provider has not sent the funds yet.
Will funds from my direct deposit always arrive early?+
No. Early availability is not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit – including those from the same sender.
*Sunward EarlyPay means that Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposits will be available when Sunward receives the ACH submission from the sender. Availability may be affected by holidays or weekends, and is not guaranteed. Sunward EarlyPay is automatic and there is no fee.
